With so many different ways to earn an income online, beginners are often confused on how to even get started.

Everyone seems go through the same process of jumping from one method/product to the next in a constant struggle to find something that works. Many eventually just give up.

Beginners typically buy every “make money” product they see in an effort to find that “secret” to instant online income. Most of the time they decide the method doesn’t work, is too hard or isn’t for them before they even finishing reading it. Then, it’s on to the next product to try.

It’s really a shame that so many of them could have been successful if they learned just one of those methods and actually implemented it.

So let’s take a look at 10 methods I know of that have the potential to generate an income within a week. I’ve used several of these methods myself so I know they work.

First, I’ll start with a brief overview of each method and then tell you where to find a complete seven-day plan for implementing them.

Method 1: Service-based Quick Cash

Providing services has always been one of the easiest ways to earn cash quickly. If you think you don’t have any skills or services to sell I’d have to say in nearly every case that you’d be wrong.

The things most people struggle with when providing services is deciding which service to sell and where to find customers.

Don’t worry, those are actually the easy parts. Just know that you can get customers and sell your services to them starting this week!

Method 2: Selling New Web Sites

If you know how to build simple web sites then you can create and sell them for a profit within the week. And, I’m sure you’d be surprised at how many niche marketers are looking for ready-made web sites.

This method is somewhat speculative since you are doing your own research for popular topics to build a site for. However, if you can write 5-6 pages of content and build a simple WordPress site then you have the skills to generate some cash fairly quickly.

In fact, if you’re really good at building sites you could build 5 sites and sell then as a package! It shouldn’t take much effort to build one site per day and have a package ready in less than a week.

Method 3: Instant Commission Affiliate Products

Affiliate marketing is one method that can be built into a growing, steady and passive income stream. In most cases it isn’t a way to earn quick income.

The main problems beginners face is applying for, and getting accepted into, affiliate product networks. Once accepted, many times affiliate commissions are not paid out until a month after they are earned. Sometimes longer.

One way to start earning commissions faster is through instant commission affiliate products and networks. In some cases all you need are a PayPal account and the products to promote.

In case you didn’t know, there are a number of places where you can use this strategy to earn instant commissions rather than having to wait weeks or months to be paid.

Method 4: The ‘Free’ Way to Profit

You may have received emails or seen headlines on sales pages promising a big income by giving things away for free. If you peel away all of the hype, maybe you’d be a little surprised to know that there really are ways to generate some income with “freebies”.

One method involves creating (writing) a short report or ebook on a topic that many people want to know about. Maybe it’s a short “how-to” with tips on how to use a new feature on Facebook. There are literally thousands of topics you can write a short report on that you can give away!

Yes, give away.

And, along with giving away your product, there are a number of methods you can use to actually earn an income from something you’ve given away. One of the easiest is to just add an affiliate link somewhere in the give-away. But, understand that there are several more profitable methods than doing that.

Method 5: Offline Quick Cash

In most cases, selling services or products to offline businesses isn’t a quick, easy or newbie friendly method to earn an income from.

However, there are a couple ways for beginners to get started that actually put them at an advantage over more experienced marketers.

One method you can use is to help small businesses in your area with establishing a simple online presence. That may be by building a small web site for them, fixing up a poor web site, or providing them with ways to get more customers through opt-in forms, newsletters, or coupons.

You don’t need to have a full-service web business to help local mom & pop businesses. In most instances, they are the type of businesses that don’t have thousands of dollars to spend on web sites, SEO, or advertising campaigns. What you can provide are more affordable to them.

Method 6: Site Building Quick Cash

This is a similar method to #2 above but from a slightly different angle.

There are several places where you can find marketers looking to add affiliate or other types of web sites to their portfolios. Why? These marketers either find it too tedious and boring to build sites themselves or it’s faster and easier for them to generate profits by just buying a site already made.

In most cases you won’t even have to figure out what niche or subject matter to build the site about. With a little research you can easily find customers that will tell you exatly what type of site they’re looking for!

If you have the skills to build a nice looking WordPress site then you have everything you need to be successful with this method.

Method 7: You Scratch My Back

Sounds a little cryptic but this method is one way for beginning marketers to get a fast start in this business.

With this method you’re going to be taking advantage of other, more successful, marketer’s assets. Maybe it’s one of their products. Or, maybe it’s their large email list.

This can be somewhat of an advanced method so some beginners might not be able to do it.

The basic idea is to use your skills to create a great product (ebook, plugin, software or whatever you’re good at) and approach marketers that are a little more established than you are. Offer them all the profits from your product in exchange for them promoting it to their list.

Ok, but what’s in it for me you say? You should be able to build your own list of customers from all of the buyers the list owner sends to your site.

This is actually a way to jump-start your business and grow rather quickly.

Method 8: Cashing in on Hot Topics

It’s pretty easy to spot the current hot topics in the Internet Marketing field. Most of the time you only have to open your email in-box to see the latest topic or product being promoted. You’ll also see it in the marketing forums as a number of new products on the same topic start appearing.

Recent examples would include offline marketing, mobile marketing, amazon sites, etc. And, once you spot the current hot topic, you’ll see a bunch of new products about it.

Your task is to do some simple research about the latest hot topic, come up with your own unique angle, and create a product you can sell.

It doesn’t matter if you’ve never created a product before so there’s no reason to be afraid of trying this method. It’s not as difficult as you may think.

Method 9: Product Bundle Partnerships

I’m sure everyone has heard the phrase “find a need and fill it”!

Marketers are always looking for ways to sell their products or to sell more products. Often they will create product after product in order to generate revenue as sales of older products slow or stop completely.

With this method you can help others revive their older, but good, products. You’ll be creating a win-win situation where you and the product creator with both benefit.

There’s no need to create your own product to sell. This is a method for you to get other people to let you sell their products for them in a unique way.

Method 10: A Perfect Exchange

Method 10 is a twist on the joint venture concept although you’re not looking for typical joint venture partners. It’s also a twist on using solo ads. So, by combining these two concepts you can use an age-old bartering system to your advantage.

You can do this if you’re a good writer or product creator. Even if you’re not either of those you can still use this method if you’re able to trade for some other product or service.

The main drawback to this method is probably the finding of marketers willing to work with you. However, if done correctly, you should be able to make this method work within a week like all of the other methods above.
