Affiliate Marketing With ebay!

One of the fastest and easiest ways to start an online business is with eBay. And no, I’m not talking about selling all the junk you have piled up in the garage or basement!

My previous article showed how to get started with affiliate marketing. If you watched the videos that were included you were introduced to several different types of affiliate programs. One such program is the Ebay Partner Network (EPN).

Every day millions of transactions are completed on ebay where just about anything you can think of is bought and sold at auction. As an ebay affiliate you can earn a commission for referring buyers to the hundreds of thousands of products being sold. In addition to earning commissions from ebay sales, you can earn an additional premium for each new ebay customer that signs up (currently $25).

With the ebay partner network there’s no need for you to set up your own auctions, no need to maintain an inventory, no shipping of products, or the dozen other tasks required to sell physical goods.

One method is to search the thousands of ebay categories for a product that’s selling well. Then you build a small web site (don’t worry, I’ll tell you how in a minute) that displays those products. When someone clicks a link on your site they are taken to that product on ebay where they can bid and buy. If they are the winning bidder you earn a commission.

EPN supplies you with everything you need to track and monitor your commissions. There are also a number of “creatives” available to use such as banner ads, custom text links, and data feeds for displaying products on your site.

Ok, what about the web site thing?

If you don’t have a web site right now that’s not a problem either. One of the easiest and fastest ways to get your own ebay affiliate site up and running is with a program called Build A Niche Stores (BANS).
